Hair Extensions Care Guide

Don't know how to take care of your luscious new clip-in weave? Want to make sure your new natural curls or blow out lasts so you can get the most life out of them?

We got your back girl!

Here are some tips for how to take care of your new natural hair additions. Remember, skipping or not following the care instructions can result in degradation of the product and shorten your natural hair extensions lifespan.

  • Brushing: Gently brush with your fingers, a wide tooth comb or a detangling brush from bottom to top. Make sure to keep curls together when brushing so they do not turn into waves, work in small sections for the straighter looks.
  • Washing: Wash using a sulfate-free shampoo in a basin or sink, do not exceed 4 washing in a 7 day time period. Let air dry for at least 3 hours before storing.
  • Conditioning: Spread a coconut or almond oil evenly through the curls as you would your own hair.
  • Storage: If using as temporary wefts make sure to store when not in use either in the packaging they came in or in a silk bag

Follow these steps and you'll be looking fresh for days! Take good care of your hair and you'll look on point for any and all events.

These steps can also be used to take care of our extensions as well. Follow the steps above if you're pinning them in temporarily, or peek at these slight adjustments for washing below if you've installed them more permanently.
